Under such model, IP Camera can be connected to PC? by cable directly or Hub or Switch. IP addresses is usually? private IP (192.168.1 .*), the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0.

1. If you use first one mode, make sure you use twisted pair line is cross line, otherwise you will not be able to connect to your IP Camera normally;
2. In the second and third mode, there is no difference between Hub and Switch on function which can be exchanged.

Firstly installation software before manipulating IP camera
Start IP Camera on IP Camera Tool:
Double-click IP cameras tools on the Desktop; "ip camera tool"
Double-click IP address to enter into log in web.
Please remember IP address
Start IP Camera on the internet
Input the IP address directly and click Enter, then enter into log in webpage.( IP address can be available by previous method).
Note: the port number is 80
3.2 Extranet (Internet) to connect (in the picture )
When IP Camera and PC are not at the same network segment, the IP address can be available by correct connection.
Connection by ADSL (in the picture)
When connection by ADSL (see photo below), the IP address is dynamic changed. Each connection ADSL IP Camera will get a temporary IP address which is different from previous one.
Under such circumstances, please fill or select the ADSL User, Password and Report ADSL IP by Mail.
